INDIA stands to provide world with a fresh take on tomorrow’s design that encompasses the infinite cultural riches and ancient wisdom. Studio34 team is in constant pursuit to lead this revolution famously known these days as “Design in India”
Studio34 started as an idea when four design students who shared an apartment on Via San Quitino, 34 in Torino, were having some fun on a summer evening in a birreria. After a few Italian pints, creative juices started to flow and a motion was passed to formulate a design house and work with the creative freedom every designer aspires for. Naive as they might seem, their time came.
The design students became design professionals with the passage of time. Their dream to live design started slowly and they continued working together towards the common vision they all shared. From early days of designing logotypes and visiting card to designing turnkey design projects today, each assignment was delivered with a sense of accomplishment and pride.
Studio34 DesignArt Pvt. Ltd. has come a long way today since that evening at the birrreria and sure looks ahead to go far into the future. Designers at Studio34 solemnly believe that this century has just begun to unveil and appreciate the intellectual and creative facet of India which lay hidden for a long time. The creative energies are just beginning to unravel the design language of the future.
India is a very diverse country. So much so, that the taste of water and food, the language dialect, the sense of dressing changes every 200 kms.
A place this diverse can not have one uniform function structure. It is bound to have an experiential approach to things. Indian Aesthetics is an intriguing subject that can’t be summed up in a single study. It has multiple layers that one unfolds as he starts to experience the magic.

The Shinkansen is a network of high speed railway in Japan that has been known for its high speed and punctuality for a few decades now. The arrival of Shinkansen on the Indian subcontinent is bound to change the face and pace of travel.A technological marvel, it gives us a very different approach to try as well.
While exteriors and technology is not something for us to play around with, the interiors, on the other hand, are all about an exciting experience and a homely enviroment.

Automotive industry, today, is bogged down by numbers, production timelines, engineering constraints of mass production lines and cost targets. These have led the feel and image of the automobile away from what it used to be in the yester years. The expression, passion, and the connect seems to have been lost somewhere with the passage of time.
As kids, we had our fantasies, wherein, the automobile played a major role. The design made the BEAUTY and the BEAST distinctly visible and made us drool. Looking at those posters on the walls in awe and admiring those feminine curves and beasty raw power packs, ignited a passionate desire within us all to get hold of these beauties one day if ever possible in our lives. Then came adulthood, responsibilities, dreams and priorities which changed the whole face of life leading us into a monotonous routine job.
LOCOMOTIF is an initiative by the creative child within us to relive that moment of our buried fantasies and to express ourselves through this medium to satisfy the ever increasing thirst to bring back the same old passion, emotion, expression and crudeness of the golden automotive era that led us to stare in awe and made us all drooooooool . . .
